Island Vibes Magazine’s Que Lindo Model for August is Gregory Brown. Greg was born in Kingston, Jamaica and currently resides in Tampa, FL. Both of Greg’s parents also hail from Jamaica; his mother from St. Elizabeth and his father from St. Ann. He has 4 siblings: one brother and 3 sisters.

Greg currently works as a Roadway Design Engineer in the Construction Service field. He is a proud alumnus of the University of South Florida and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Greg’s professional aspirations are to pursue a PhD in Business Management and to one day open a non-profit entity focusing on youth leadership.

At the suggestions of a few people, Greg became interested in modeling while attending university. His first published feature was for a university construction program brochure. Greg can currently be found doing runway work (primarily for wedding shows). He has also recently signed with DK Model & Talent Agency. Ultimately Greg would like to be a runway model for a major designer and work one of the fashion weeks in a major market.

When not working as an Engineer or a Model, Greg enjoys playing sports such as golf, tennis, ultimate frisbee, and anything on the water. He also loves to travel and his favorite destination is the Blue Ridge Mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

When IVM asked Greg what would be the one thing that he would want people to know about him; he simply replied, “that I am a reasonable individual.”
