Que Lindo

December’s Que Lindo Model is Akeem Ferdinand. Born and raised in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, he now resides in Richmond, VA where he is a full time student. Akeem is majoring in Computer Information Systems at Virginia Commonwealth University. He says one big accomplishment while at the University was being on the Dean’s list for his academic success. In Akeem’s spare time, he enjoys working out, doing web design projects, and photography. He is a well rounded individual who also sings and will cherish the experience he had to audition for season four’s “Making of the Band” in NYC.

Akeem has been involved as a Model in many Fashion Shows and will model in a Bridal Show come in February in VA. He spoke of his most memorable show with Red Star Entertainment. Akeem has an interest in doing more commercial and advertising print work in the future and has high hopes to work with major designers like Ralph Lauren.

Long term and outside of Modeling, Akeem wants to have his own business doing computer hardware and software development and repair. His goals and ambitions include wanting to help bring new technology, more business, and also entertainment to the US Virgin Islands, where he hopes to someday have a residence again.
