Que Linda

Island Vibes Magazine’s Que Linda Model for February is Melissa Shante, aka Melissa Xclusive. Currently living in the Miami, FL area, Melissa has a diverse line of heritage which includes Trinidadian, African-American, Caucasian, and American Indian. When she is not modeling, she is working as a customer service representative for a major US cable television company. Melissa enjoys writing music, playing the drums, and cooking in her free time. Some of her favorite dishes include mac and cheese, shrimp alfredo, and ox tails. She also shares time in helping to raise her younger Cousin and takes great pride in being a positive role model.

In the world of modeling, Melissa has been featured in 954 Magazine. Additionally, she has done various fashion shows and has done promotional modeling as well in the past. Her modeling goal for this year is to do more catalog and editorial work. Melissa is a triple threat in the entertainment industry as she is not only a talented model, but she also writes, and has attended school for acting in which she has a desire to one day act on television sitcoms.

Long term, Melissa sees herself being very successful and accomplishing her goals in all the above mentioned areas of the entertainment industry. She someday hopes to marry, have two kids, and have a book telling about her life experiences.
